Beautiful Platinum and Diamond Cocktail Watch From 1953
This is a lovely example of a ladies 1950s platinum and diamond ladies watch
It has a platinum case surrounded by diamonds and then more diamonds to the shoulders which are incredibly white, bright and crisp - elegant and very much in the classic design. total diamond content is approximately 1ct
The dial is perfect silver with contrasting peacock blue steel hands.
It has its original 9ct white gold bracelet with three position clasp
The case measures 11mm wide and the total length of the platinum and diamond section is 51mm including the diamond set articulated shoulders.
The watch fits a wrist size upto 6 inches or 153mm. It can easily be reduced to fit a smaller wrist.

It comes complete with a new presentation box
It is quite stunning, the case professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
Unfortunately the original 1950s mechanical movement was beyond repair so we have replaced it with a super reliable gold plated ETA quartz movement, the same movement that is used by Omega and Longines.
The case is marked platinum and has been fully tested.
This watch certainly has a timeless elegance which resonates class.
Overall this watch is simply stunning and was obviously extremely well cared for, it would certainly make a perfect gift for any lady especially when worn with that little black dress - very Audrey Hepburn!
