Early IWC International Watch Company Calibre 401 from 1951
This is an exemplary example of a gents classic slimline wristwatch made by the world renowned premier maker International Watch Company or IWC.
The IWC Calibre 401 movement is relatively rare, more refined and slimmer than the more famous calibre 89 and was made in much smaller numbers.
Calibre 401 is fitted with Breguet hairspring, incabloc shock proofing and micro regulator - the watchmakers watch!The watch is 34mm in diameter without the winding crown.
The dial is perfect having been professionally restored to new condition.
