Early untouched Omega Speedmaster MK II 1970 with boxes

£2,950.00Price
  • This is a fine example of an early Omega speedmaster MKII from 1970

The movement is the highly respected chronograph calibre 861 with stopwatch with seconds, minutes and hour recording indicators.

This is one of the early examples that used the steel brake rather than the later plastic brake.

    The model reference is 145.014

The heavy stainless steel case measures 42mm wide without the buttons. It is in superb untouched condition it has never been polished or restored. The crown and pushers are all original.

The case and bracelet have been ultrasonically cleaned.

The only item that has been replaced is the glass.

The back is free from any nasty opening scratches and the emblem is nice and clear.

The dial and hands are all original they have  not been touched or restored and are in amazing condition. The lume showing just a light even patina.

It comes with its original 1162 bracelet which  will fit a maximum wrist size of up to 7.5 inches or 19cms. It also comes with a new heavyweight stainless steel mesh bracelet that will fit a wrist up to 8.5 inches and a Leather strap with Omega logo Buckle. We will also include a spring bar tool so that you can swap them as you please.

The movement  has been fully and professionally overhauled and everything performs works exactly as it did the day it left the factory. The pushers act crisply and positively.

Overall this is one of the best early examples you will find, and it comes with inner and outer boxes.
