This is a remarkable mint condition unrestored and almost unworn example of the Legendary manual winding Omega 285 from 1960
The only work we have carried out is to service the movement and give the case a light polish with a soft cloth.
The gold filled case is 34.5mm in diameter excluding the original crown, a full size gents. It is perfect with no signs of wear whatsoever
The case edges are sharp and crisp the watch looks like it was kept hidden away in a drawer and never worn.
The movement is the Omega calibre 285 the last of the legendary 30t2 series Omegas greatest manual winding movement and used in the Battle of Britain pilots watches. It has been freshly serviced and is currently running at plus 5 seconds per day , not bad for a 60 year old watch.
The dial is totally original and perfect it has had no restoration whatsoever.
The original leaf hands are also original in matching gold
The movement serial number indicates that this watch was made in 1960.
Its the most original and perfect unrestored and complete example you will ever see.
The model reference is 14726
A superb collectors piece.
