Mint Solid 9ct Gold Omega Geneve Automatic Box, Papers, Buckle, Strap 1968
This is a remarkable Museum quality Full Set unrestored and almost unworn example of the solid 9ct gold Omega Geneve Automatic from 1968
The only work we have carried out is to service the movement and give the case a light polish with a soft cloth.
The solid 9ct gold case is 34mm in diameter excluding the original crown, a full size gents.
The case edges are sharp and crisp the watch looks like it was kept hidden away in a drawer and rarely worn.
The movement is the Omega 552, Omegas greatest automatic winding movement. It has been freshly serviced and is currently running at plus 5 seconds per day , not bad for a 60 year old watch.
The dial is totally original and perfect it has had no restoration whatsoever.
The hands are matching gold
The hallmarks and movement serial number indicate that this watch was made in 1968 and the paperwork indicates that it was sold a little later in 1969
It comes as a complete set with original Omega box, Omega paperwork, the original retailers receipt, the solid 9ct gold Omega buckle and its original Omega black strap with original spring bars.
Its the most original and perfect unrestored and complete example you will ever see. the kind of thing you normally only find in the Omega Museum.
A superb collectors piece.
