Museum Quality Unworn Solid 9ct Gold Omega Geneve With Boxes And Papers
This is a remarkable Museum quality unrestored and unworn example of the stunning manual winding Omega Geneve from 1972
The only work we have carried out is to service the movement and give the case a light polish with a soft cloth.
The solid 9ct gold case is 34mm in diameter excluding the original crown, a full size gents.
The case edges are sharp and crisp the watch looks like it was kept hidden away in a drawer and never worn.
The movement is the super reliable Omega calibre 601 manual winding movement. It has been freshly serviced and is currently running at plus 3 seconds per day , not bad for a 50 year old watch.
The linen texture dial is totally original and perfect it has had no restoration whatsoever.
The 9ct gold hallmarks indicate that this watch was made in 1972 and sold a little later in early 1974
The heavy solid 9ct gold bracelet is full length as it left the factory at 20cm long, it can be reduced to fit a smaller wrist size
Its the most original and perfect unrestored and complete example you will ever see.
The original inner and outer boxes are in perfect condition.
This is the best and most complete example of any Omega we have ever seen, the kind of thing you normally can only find in the Omega Museum.
You will never see another.
