Near Mint All Original Solid 9ct Gold Slimline Longines Calibre 6922 from 1977
This is a remarkable almost mint quality unrestored example of the Longines 6922 with starburst dial from 1977
The only work we have carried out is to service the movement and give the case a light polish with a soft cloth.
The solid 9ct gold case is 33mm in diameter excluding the original crown.
The case edges are sharp and crisp, the serrations on the original winding crown are razor sharp. The watch looks like it was kept hidden away in a drawer and almost never worn
The movement is a calibre 6922 which is very high quality, this was one of Longines highest grade movements of this period. It has been freshly serviced and is currently running at plus 10 seconds per day , not bad for a 50 year old watch. The London hallmark dates this watch to 1977.
The beautiful starburst dial is totally original and near perfect it has had no restoration whatsoever.
The hands are matching gold and all original.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
A very nice quality collectors piece that can be handed down through the generations.
