Outstanding International Watch Company Calibre 89 gents wristwatch.
This is an exemplary example of a gents classic wristwatch made by the world renowned premier maker International Watch Company or IWC.
This the legendary calibre 89 movement, with Jewels set into gold chatons, Geneva stripe plates with hand beveled edges and seconds friction adjust. Widely regarded as the finest movement ever made and known as the watchmakers watch, as you can see it is in fabulous condition.
The dial is in mint perfect condition having just been professionally restored. the hands are original as is the fish symbol winding crown, the serrations are crisp and sharp.
It has a water resistant stainless steel case measuring 35mm without the winding crown.
The armoured glass has just been replaced
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
IWC are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class indeed this is one of the best all original examples we have ever had, a rare find indeed.
