Rare Omega Calibre 320 Chronograph Tropical Dial c1964
Everything apart from the glass is totally original, the diameter is 35mm without the crown and has the original flat footed symbol which in itself is rare.
The original beads of rice bracelet is in superb condition with little signs of wear.
The 'tropical' dial is simply amazing it has gently and evenly faded to a rich chocolate brown colour and still retains some of the original lume to the batons. The colour of the lume on the dial also exactly matches the colour of the lume on the hands.
This one has the best tropical dial I have ever seen with a nice even patina and a definite ring around the edge which is jet black where it was covered by the bezel ring confirming that it is a true and completely original tropical dial.
The pushers still retain their graining to the sides so its clearly not had much use.
he 320 is the two subdial version of the more widely known calibre 321. The 320 is a much rarer calibre than the 321.
The reference is 101.009
The amplitude is over 330 degrees and currently running at plus 5 seconds per day.
This is one of the rarest of Omega chronographs and to find a tropical dial of this standard is probably unique.
This is an incredibly rare watch and much sought after by collectors.
It also comes with a selection of straps.
The watch has just been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
