Solid 18ct Gold Omega Sapphette Ladies Watch c1966
This is a very fine and beautiful example of a ladies wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Omega.
This is the Solid 18ct Gold Omega Sapphette from 1966.
The Omega Sapphette range was the first watch to use scratch resistant sapphire glass. It was also enhanced by facet cut internal edges to give it an added sparkle.
The watch looks almost unworn.
The original dial is in as new condition and just stunning with gilt and black hands and baton markers
It has the Omega logo on the winding crown, the dial and the case back.
It has the super reliable calibre 483 manual winding movement.
As you would expect from Omega the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case, the bracelet and case are fully hallmarked.
Omega are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
The watch case measures 18mm in diameter not including the crown.Overall this watch is in beautiful original condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift.
