Spectacular Solid 18ct White Gold and Diamond Omega Cocktail Watch 1971
This is a totally spectacular and beautiful ladies couture wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Omega.
It has 3.5 carats of the most stunning highest grade diamonds we have ever seen on any watch. The diamonds are E-F colour and VSS1-VSS2 clarity, The largest pair of diamonds are 0.66 carats each. Diamonds of this size and grade are normally reserved for top of the line diamond solitaire rings. In natural daylight they are simply blinding.
The case and bracelet are of solid 18ct white gold, the brushed brick link bracelet is a beautiful timeless design and just glides around the wrist.
It has the unusual backwinding calibre 640 movement which means that the winder will not stick out to spoil the look, the little winding disc sits perfectly in the hollow of your wrist
Everything about this watch is perfect and unblemished it is all original and untouched, The original silver dial is quite superb.
It fits a wrist size of up to 6 1/4 inches or 16cms but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller or possibly be lengthened.
The watch case measures 23mm by 20mm and the bracelet is 5mm wide
The case and bracelet have been ultrasonically cleaned.
It also comes with original fitted box and an extract of the Omega archives confirming its authenticity stating that it was first sold in Belgium on the 5th of January 1971.
This watch would have been a special couture piece and is probably unique.
As you would expect from Omega the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
This is undoubtedly the finest ladies Omega we have ever seen.
