Superb Original Omega Seamaster Cal 321 Chronograph With Box From 1967

This is an outstanding example of a vintage mens chronograph made by the premium Swiss maker Omega.
This is the rare 1967 Seamaster three register chronograph with the legendary calibre 321 movement, the same movement that was used in the Gemini and Apollo Astronaut watches. The movement is considered to be the best chronograph movement ever produced.
The Model Reference is 145.005. The silver dial is completely original and untouched it has had no restoration whatsoever its one of the best original examples we have seen.
The case and original beads of rice bracelet have been ultrasonically cleaned. The Omega symbol is on the crown and it is fully marked Omega on the dial, movement and case as you would expect.
The movement has been professionally serviced and a new glass has been fitted all of the functions work perfectly and it keeps excellent time. It comes with its original box and a choice of Leather or webbing straps so that you can change the look if you wish. The watch case measures 35mm in diameter not including the crown or the pusher buttons. This is one of the most desireable vintage chronographs and is even to be seen on the wrist of Roger Smith, widely regarded as the greatest living watchmaker!
Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and probably the best of this model we have ever come across This is an incredibly rare watch and much sought after by collectors.
It has its original full length bracelet beads of rice which will fit a wrist size upto 8 inches, it has the correct bracelet number 1036 for this period and has the Omega symbol on the clasp
If you don't like metal bracelets we can fit a leather strap or a NATO style webbing strap.
Of course this watch is all about the movement, the calibre 321 is widely regarded as one of the finest chronographs ever made which is why it was chosen by NASA for the Gemini and Apollo programs
It has just undergone a full professional overhaul and all chronograph functions work perfectly, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking and is considered to be far superior to all later Omega chronograph movements.The movement is running at plus 2 seconds per day and has a running amplitude of 310 degrees, all functions work perfectly and the flyback is instant and crisp with no evidence of hour creep.
