Very Rare Mint Condition Gold Filled IWC Calibre 89 From 1968
Outstanding Gold Filled Calibre 89 gents wristwatch.
The attention to detail is what makes these IWC watches stand out from other manufacturers.
This is the legendary calibre 89 movement originally developed for military use, with ruby jewels set into gold chatons, Geneva stripe plates with hand beveled edges and seconds friction adjust. Widely regarded as the finest movement ever made and known as the watchmakers watch, as you can see it is in fabulous condition having just been fully serviced.
The dial is original, perfect and unblemished.
It has the rare water resistant reference 910 gold filled case with armoured glass. its in mint condition.
This is one of the most hard wearing vintage watches you can buy it will put up with a lot of abuse and still keep going.
The diameter of the case is 34mm without the winding crown
The serial number dates this watch to 1968, this would have been one of the very last calibre 89s ever made
