This is an exceptional example of a gents stainless steel automatic wristwatch made by the world renowned Crown Jewellers Garrard of London
This watch is in perfect new condition, we do not think it has ever been worn.
The paperwork dates its manufacture to 1979
The 25 Jewel fully automatic calibre 2783 movement is an absolute gem, made by the Swiss ETA company, the same movement that is used in many of Omegas watches.
The silver star burst dial is original and perfect it has luminous hands and baton markers.
All we have done is to service the movement and ultrasonically clean the case. We have carried out no restoration on this watch. It's just like the day it left the factory.
As you would expect from the Crown jeweller the case is robust and of exceptional quality, it is water resistant and has its original armoured glass, this was Garrards flagship stainless steel watch.
Stainless steel Garrard watches are exceptionally rare, over 95% of their watches are solid gold. This make this a very rare find and a superb watch suitable for everyday wear.
